Jack shared Claire recently married, so is now Claire Hermann. She received her BA degree from Mitchell in Marine Biology, where she graduated from the honors college. Claire has extensive field experience as a student and worked one summer as fisheries technician for Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. She is currently attending UCA for a Master’s degree. Claire’s current research involved the study of stream barriers and how it affects the composition of fish species and how they assemble.
Our meeting was visited by ghost, goblins, witches, a wise guy many more.
Kevin spoke of his trip to Eagle Lake in Ontario, Canada where he said he was treated like a king.
Eagle Lake 68,000 acres and over 70 miles long it is one of the areas larger and most diverse lakes in the region. Its waters hold all five major species of fish, walleye, northern pike, muskie, lake trout and smallmouth bass and provide trophy potential for all species.

Austin talks about Walleye fishing on the White River.
Busch Mountain Fishing Guide Service was started in 2014 in Busch, Ar. The passion for fishing and the outdoors was so strong when I moved here, that I wanted to do it 365/24-7. I have worked very hard and I am constantly striving to be successful by conducting "research" on the White River in the off months and time I have between customer trips. This is done for several reason such as, locating fish habitats, spawning times, water temperatures, bait location and bait preference. This way, I am able to provide our customers with the best fishing experience on the White River.

Author Doug Allen will talk about his book "The Riverman's Guide to the Kings River"
Thorough guide maps help you plan your trip to the river while the Riverman Tips are essential for understanding the regulations, reading the river levels, choosing the right floating vessels, selecting the right fishing gear, and packing the right bait. While the smallmouth bass reigns supreme over the Kings River, it shares the habitat with over 215 species of fish. While this book is comprehensive in love and lore, time and space will dictate focusing on the most popular sought-after game fish that populate this beloved Ozark stream.

This morning, we have a very interesting presentation which provides of an overview of fish habitat development & enhancement projects the AGFC has completed or has underway to enhance large sized / trophy game fish populations in Arkansas impoundments, lakes and river fisheries.
Please join me in welcoming Sean Lusk, the AGFC Fisheries District Coordinator and Certified Fisheries Professional based in Little Rock. Sean received his undergrad degree in Fisheries Biology from Virginia Tech and completed his M.S. in Fisheries Management from Auburn University and
joined the AGFC in 2015. Joining Sean today, is Jordan Lindaman. Jordan is a AGFC Reservoir Habitat Biologist with the Rogers, AR field office. He joined AGFC in 2015 and is a graduate of Iowa State University. In 2019 Jordan was awarded the AGFC Fisheries Division Technical Employee of
the Year Award. Presentation will include the following: Economic positives which accrue to local communities who support the recreational fishing community with fisheries which include significant populations of large and trophy sized game fish. Ranking game fish - What are the top five game fish in Arkansas, based on feedback from the recreational fishing community?
What are the key fishery developmental components associated with enhancing the growth of trophy game fish populations in impoundments, lakes, and river systems?
Overview of AGFC projects which have achieved results in enhancing the growth of large and trophy sized game fish populations in state managed impoundments, lakes, and river systems.
I grew up in Fayetteville, AR fishing and hunting from a young age. I was a fly fishing guide and commercial tier through college. After college, I went into the corporate world as a business analyst. My favorite activities are fishing, backpacking/camping, canoeing, and taking care of my land out in Lincoln, especially if it includes teaching my 5 year old son. My favorite places to fish locally are any of the smallmouth creeks (secret!), Roaring River, and North Fork of the White/Norfork tailwater, although I don’t get to fish as much as I would like these days. My favorite travel places to fish are the Boundary Waters Canoe Area/Quetico and anywhere in the Rockies!
I purchased Wholesale Fly Company in September 2023. The previous owner, Bob Brower, was retiring and I was really upset and did not know where I would buy my fly hooks and beads from anymore. I had the crazy idea to buy the business and it worked out thankfully! Wholesale Fly Company (WFC) specializes in great quality and affordable fly tying hooks and beads via the website (wholesaleflycompany.com).
